|Los Cinco Robles - A Masterful Colonial Remodel In Merida|
Los Cinco Robles is a magnificently remodeled Colonial home of the grandest style. . Historic and contemporary styles intermingle to create an amazing ambience and welcoming environment. Your vacation here will be individually tailored to your needs and desires.
A vacation at Los Cinco Robles begins with an airport pick-up by an English-speaking driver. Upon arrival at your home away from home you will be greeted by a welcome basket…all the goodies you need to get you through your first evening and morning in Merida. The staff is happy to have shopped for your grocery items and to have pre-stocked the house for you as well, if that is your wish.
Enjoy your first evening in Merida poolside or drink in the sights from the roof-top terrace. Still full of energy? Hungry? The activities and restaurants of the Plaza Grande are only three blocks away and picturesque Parque Santiago is right around the corner. Feel more comfortable with a personal guide to the best activities, restaurants and shopping experiences? We can arrange to have a bi-lingual member of the staff act as your personal guide.
This is the vacation home perfect for the most discerning guest. Each room is special and unique with the best quality custom furnishings and decorations. Los 5 Robles has 2 marvelous master suites both with king beds, seating areas and their own bathrooms with double sinks and American style showers. One suite has a private terrace with views to Santiago Church the other suite has Juliet balconies with views across Merida.
There are 2 further bedrooms, one with a double bed, its own bathroom and a shaded balcony overlooking the back garden. The fourth bedroom overlooks the pool and has a single bed with access to a bathroom at the pool level. Each bedroom has air-conditioning and ceiling fans.
The kitchen and dining rooms are also air-conditioned. The kitchen is roomy and well equipped and has purified water to the sink and ice maker. There is, of course, a dish washer. The dining room seats eight for sit down dinner parties. The home also includes cable TV with English speaking channels, flat screen TVs, DVD player and IPod players as well as wi-fi internet.
Check with the English speaking property manager to arrange for carriage rides, chef, tour guide, driver….anything you can imagine, we can provide to make this your dream vacation. Perfect for weddings and honeymoons too!
Following is from an article about a visit to Merida by a travel writer (see the full article at:http://www.intltravelnews.com/2014/07/mexicos-ancient-mayan-puuc-cities):
Best was that Mérida offers free Yucatecan dance or music performances in a different open-air venue almost every night of the week.
We rented an elegant home, Los 5 Robles (Calle 68, No. 493, Mérida), about a 15-minute walk from Mérida’s main plaza. Beautifully furnished, the home came with four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a large balcony, two terraces (one of them a huge roof terrace with views) and a plant-filled garden-patio with a small pool and a fountain.
The cost was $5,500 for the month — reasonable at about $183 per night, I thought, for a house I rated A+.
